  I've always accepted that you don't shop here for service because it is truly none existent. Today took the cake when I wanted to purchase a large (and dirty) bag of potting soil and asked at the checkout for a staff to bring it in so they could ring it through. I was looked at like as if I have 2 heads or something, what a crazy idea that they should assist a customer. In the end the cashier simply refused to arrange for someone to look after this for me. Convenience is the only thing this store has going for it.

  Terrible service. Staff is grouchy, rude and unpleasant. No courtesty for customers and frankly don't care. Beware of expiry date and cook your meat as soon as you can. The meat, plant and produce prices are cheap so you want convenience and low prices with unfriendly service this is the place. Lack of competition is why this store is still running. Beware don't buy outdated food and check the quallity of your meat as it is common to have unfresh meat. Just heard Save-On-Foods is opening in Steveston in FALL 2018.

  I live a close bike ride away and love having a grocery store so close by. The store dose not have the same selection as the chain stores but it does have a great hot food section and great prices on meat and veggies. Spinach is cheap, ground beef and chicken is cheap. Plus lots of options if you feed your animals raw meat instead of store bought stuff. I choose this store over the Safeway close by every couple days :)

  They have the biggest Dan-d-pak snack selection, best prices, and the friendliest staff. Worth my drive from Westwood Plateau (Coquitlam)!!!
