  This place explains the history of Steveston's canning industry. It is very well done on the inside. They have done a good job at adding displays to the cannery well still preserving its character and history.

  Not a bad little local history museum, but very tightly focused, so if you're not into industrial machinery, the life cycles of fish, or food processing assembly lines, you may not find much of interest. Could spend 30 min to 2 hrs depending on your attention to detail or if you have small children that want to engage with interactive displays. Would have liked to see a bit more on the community surrounding/supporting the cannery, and other peoples represented than the First Nations - there were significant Asian people groups involved in early Steveston and the fishing community...

  Great museum that speaks to the fishing heritage of Steveston, Richmond. Lots of neat exhibits and artifacts.
